Dear Employees, Customers and Friends of Thies Distributing,

The Thies family would like to Thank You for the legacy it leaves behind as we close our doors on Monday June 30^th 2008.

It is with a heavy heart that we say farewell. To our employees, you are the reason for all the years of success. To our friends and customers, it was a pleasure serving you and thank you for all your support. We will miss you all.

Wm. Thies & Sons, founded in 1951, became one of the country’s largest and most prestigious beer distributors by the 1990’s. The many decades of success can be attributed to not only hard work and passion for the beer business, but many long-term dedicated employees that stood by the Thies family. The last few years have been filled with unpredictable twists and turns in this great industry that continues to change.

We wish you all well and thank you for making Thies Distributing such a great company to be a part of. We also wish JJ Taylor and Goldcoast Beverage all the best as they more than capably take over the helm. Please afford them the same support that you all have to us.
